The Problem
New users find Best Buy's current cluttered website overwhelming, making shopping for the tech they need more stressful and confusing than it should be.
The Solution
Redesign the UI to create a more personal, friendly, and engaging experience, add features to help users better understand tech products, and reorganize information for a cleaner, more helpful shopping experience.
Design Direction
A bold, more colorful design for Best Buy inspired by neo-brutalism to make browsing tech products entertaining for tech newbies and experts alike. By adding illustrated characters that represent both users and Best Buy experts throughout the site, it creates a personalized experience akin to their in-person offerings at their stores.
